Frequently
Asked Questions
What is a direct-care pediatric practice?
Infinite Bounds Pediatrics operates as a direct care practice, meaning families pay directly for services rather than billing insurance. Unlike some direct-care practices, this is both a membership model and a fee-for-service approach with clearly listed costs. You choose the plan that meets your needs- a one time visit, a package to focus on one particular problem, or the all encompassing concierge primary care membership.
What does a direct-care pediatrician do?
A direct-care pediatrician provides medical care directly to families without billing insurance. We can meet via phone, telemedicine, or in person in Colorado Springs via our concierge services. This model allows for longer visits, easier communication, and more personalized pediatric care without many of the limitations of traditional insurance-based systems.
Do you accept insurance?
No. We do not bill insurance directly. However, families can request a superbill that may be submitted to their insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement, depending on their plan.

At this time, we may not see any patients that have Medicaid or various versions of Medicaid.
Do I need insurance to see a pediatrician at Infinite Bounds Pediatrics?
No. At Infinite Bounds Pediatrics, families pay directly for services rather than billing insurance. However, health insurance may still help cover the cost of emergencies, primary care, labs, therapies, counseling, and other medical services your child may need. This is also a great option for those with high deductible plans. At this time, we are unable to see patients whose insurance is Medicaid.
What ages do you care for?

What is a Meet & Greet consultation?
A Meet & Greet is a short free introductory conversation where families can learn about the practice, ask questions, and see whether our approach to pediatric care is the right fit before scheduling services.
Do you offer telemedicine visits?
Yes. Telemedicine visits are available for many common concerns, including mild illnesses that do not require an in-person exam, medication questions, behavioral concerns, and follow-up care.
When Telemedicine Is Not the Right Choice
Telemedicine may not be appropriate if your child has symptoms that require an in-person examination, including:
-
Fever above 100.4 lasting more than 5 days
-
Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
-
Chest pain or tightness
-
Signs of dehydration:
-
Fewer than two wet diapers in 24 hours
-
No tears when crying
-
A sunken fontanelle
-
-
Concerning vomiting:
-
Persistent vomiting
-
Bloody vomit
-
Bright green vomit
-
-
Bloody stools
-
Sudden or significant behavioral changes
-
Sudden loss of vision or consciousness
If your child has these symptoms, an in-person medical evaluation is recommended.
What areas do you serve?
We provide telemedicine services across Colorado. In-person services are available within select Colorado Springs zip codes. Travel outside of zip codes 80907, 80917, 80918, 80920, 80922, 80923, and 80924 may include a small travel fee.
What makes Infinite Bounds Pediatrics different?
